ABOUT ME

I’ve always been drawn to helping people understand complex concepts, make confident decisions, and turn their ambitions into something authentic and meaningful.

My career began in accounting and education, including teaching Financial Accounting and Income Taxation at UBC’s Sauder School of Business and Robert H. Lee Graduate School. Teaching reinforced something that continues to shape my work today: financial knowledge is most powerful when people understand it, feel confident using it, and can see how it informs their decisions.

I went on to found and grow an accounting and advisory practice serving more than 300 clients across the nonprofit, arts, film, and television sectors. I built the business through relationships and reputation, supporting organizations with their finances while leading a team of my own. Over time, I discovered that some of my most meaningful work happened through mentorship and coaching of my team and clients.

After successfully selling the practice, I entered a new chapter of life as a mother. That transition gave me an opportunity to reflect on the work I wanted to pursue and the kind of impact I hoped to have. One thing became especially clear: the work I find most fulfilling is helping people and organizations grow in ways that are both sustainable and meaningful.

Today, I bring together my financial expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and people-centered approach through Fractional CFO services and strategic advisory. I collaborate with purpose-driven organizations to strengthen their financial foundations, navigate change, plan for growth, and make decisions with greater confidence.

I’m particularly passionate about supporting nonprofits and mission-driven leaders whose work makes a difference in their communities. I also bring a deep commitment to mentoring, teaching, and helping people recognize and develop their own capabilities.
